My name is Samantha Beaumont-Terry and I have run my own business – Sabre Bookkeeping since 2001. I had previously worked for a bookkeeping bureau and was appalled at the way clients were treated and bookkeeping carried out. I wanted to provide a service that was helpful, supportive and that gave my clients the information they requested when they needed it. I was originally based in Reading, but moved to Fareham in Hampshire in August 2007. Most of my clients I have had since I started in business and have built up a relationship where they know they can ask me for any sort of information and I will do my best to provide it.
When I take on a new client the first thing I do is look through their paperwork and accounts system to see how the work is being done currently. It often brings up a few nasty surprises for both the client and me! I can provide Sage software for your accounts and am flexible so able to work at your premises or if you prefer I can take work away to complete at my home. As I have no business premises to maintain I can keep my costs competitive.
I am qualified and work hard to support the needs of small businesses. I have full liability and product insurance which provides even more protection for you – my client. I have over 20 years of bookkeeping experience and have taken both the IAB and the AAT bookkeeping exams. In 2010 I completed the AAT examinations to level 3 - meaning that I can offer my clients an even more complete service when completing their year-end accounts, which in turn means the Accountant fees for producing the year end are generally reduced.
